Apply for unemployment compensation. Even if you are not sure if you are eligible, there’s no harm in applying.
Take a few moments and think about the things that happened before you were fired. Write down what you remember in as much detail as you can – names, dates, exact words if you can. If you have documents, letters, etc. keep them in a safe place. If you have a valid employment law case, this information will be very important.
