The Americans With Disabilities Act in the workplace

The Americans With Disabilities Act requires most employers to accommodate disabled workers by taking reasonable steps to allow those workers to continue their employment.  The ADA also requires employers to refrain from discriminating against those who are disabled.  The ADA also forbids discrimination on the basis of a perceived disability, and discrimination based upon a worker’s association with a disabled individual.
